MORINGA

Moringa Oleifera is also known as Moringa , drumstick tree , horseradish tree , ben oil tree or benzolive tree . Various parts of the Moringa tree are edible - immature seed pods ( drumsticks ) , leaves , mature seeds , flowers roots , bark and sap are used in traditional medicines . Moringa leaves are the most nutritious part of the plant can be cooked and used in similar ways to spinach or can be dried and crushed into a powder for soups and sauces . The immature seeds pods ( drumsticks ) are consumed in Asia by parboiling and cooking in a curry until soft . Seeds are removed from the mature pods and eaten like peas or roasted like nuts .


Oil can be extracted from the seeds which can be used in cooking , perfumes ,hair products and machine lubricants . Moringa can be taken for
